                ผมมีความตั้งใจ ทีจะฝึกงานและทำงานอย่างเต็มความสามารถในฝ่ายSocial Media Manager, or Social Media Operator, or Strategic Planner และผมคาดว่าความสามารถพิเศษในด้าน Digital Communication Design ที่ได้เรียนมา จะสามารถช่วยงานต่างๆได้บ้าง และผมมุ่งมั่นที่จะเรียนรู้งาน อย่างเต็มที่

Professional guidance

A professor from Birmingham University came to teach us about becoming professional in work. As for preparing us to become professional, he went around the class and ask us what we want to become.

He began the class by a self-introduction that he came from India, and he travels a lot. I am not sure hearing what my friends say about what they want to do would help me be anything professional. I told him I wanted to be a character designer for game. I wasn’t really sure but I had to answer anyways. I heard some of my classmate say they want to be a singer, I thought why are they studying here? Hearing that answer I thought I can just say anything already. The professor remind us that our dreams can come true, and we have to help each other.

In the end I had no idea what I learnt from all of this.

Presentation

Presentation is a skills require in almost every profession. I think presentation skills is very important. In the class we had to present about something. I chose the topic about how to defend against shark attack.

I usually had no problem presenting, but I do get nervous and it shows a little bit. If more people is watching it is harder. There are many types of presentation. From what I can remember there are informative, persuasive, and layout.

Many people chose informative for the presentation because it’s easy to understand and easy to present.

In an informative presentation, one has to first explain the sequent, then explain the time and place, and explain what happened or should happened.

The lecture mention about layout speech, the video example talked about the place where she was born and explain what happened in the town and why it is worth travelling.

Museum trip

We went to movie museum in Salaya. We start by taking pictures with statues and watch a video about how to preserve film.

They talked about film and how they can last for a very long time sometime longer than digital film, which I disagree with. Digital files last forever if nothing damage the hard disk and it can make back up files for safety precaution. Film must be kept in a cool temperature. On the video it showed us the process from taking the film out of the box. Then they test the quality of it to see what they will do on the next step.

They take the film and cut up the bad part and stick in a correct ones. They need to use some kind of chemical on the film to clean and to preserve it.

Next we went into a house that gave us snacks and we had to pay ten bath to watch a very boring first film ever made in black and white.

Then we take a tour on the history of film, about the actors working table or history of animation, use of story board. There are many statue made from clay, which I don’t notice most of them because I am still young.

Make up class

In the makeup class we didn’t do the girl kind of makeup but a makeup for pain. As is bruise and bleed. This class teach us about the human face biology and how light and shade effect how we look. We can darken some part to create more depth.

I learned that it is easier to do makeup than use effects for bruise and bleed. We practice on making people look older, bruise, and bleed. It is a surprise that people in the media or any news caster had to put on a lot of makeup, it looks unnatural, but when I see them on TV they look normal because of the bright light.

There is a different in fresh bruise or age bruise. The fresh one are more red yellowish but the old one starts to get green purple.

E-commerce

Dr. Chanakan Sriratanaban came to teach us about E-commerce. He talked about big data which is a data set so large that traditional data processing are not enough. Website can use information about user, such as google, youtube, and facebook.

The data can be used in many ways such as to learn target customer behavior to correctly use advertisement. He also taught us about E-commerce. E-commerce the e is electronic, it means buying or selling goods online.

He taught us about a product life cycle, the inventor and fast follower. Which is very useful information about business. The inventor can also go out of business if they are slow to adapt to the market.

Yoga class

We were told we would be doing yoga, so me and my friends brought my yoga mat but we didn’t use it in the end. We were doing activity like have one person stand in the middle and five or more people stand around and push the person in the middle so that he or she doesn’t fall. This game taught us to trust each other.

We also played a copy game where two person stand and face each other, one person will take the lead the other person will copy the movement from the lead.

We did some basic streaching following the instruction from Aj. Tukta, she turns on music and every one else copy her movement. We did that do have excersise and to strech our body.

We play a song and dance, there is not much instruction on what to do but we make room for the person who will dance in the middle, almost like a dance battle from two sides. We get to see some shy people dance, which is unusual like Pang.

Online prescence

Mr Robert from Bermingham he came to taught us about online presence. Online presence is the total amount of identity I have created online. It can help spread my brand awareness so that I have more job.

Mr Robert mention that it is useless to have a website but no one knows about it. That makes sense so it is important to increase the online presence by finding a community of people that share similar interest.

It is important to be social and talked to many people and make friends. He also told us to upload our work into internet for more safe portfolio. That is true but there is a limitted amount we can upload online.
